Come one Come all - To DENVER

If you cannot find Denver - click on the link above.

Okay people. The weekend of April 10th-12th is the second opportunity of (potentially) three this year to hang out. That's right we get to make a giant fucking ruckus together 3 times this year.

On to the good stuff. My birthday is April 13th - the Monday. Kind of on a whim, last year Ajay and Zhi came out as well as another one of my friends from Spain, named Kate. This was a freaking blast.

So the tradition was born - or I hope it was.

Kate has already booked her ticket for round two.
As I said when we hung out in NYC over the new years holiday - you ALL should come.

IF you have never been to Denver - its an awesome place
If you have been, then you know how awesome it is.

I have space for folks to stay - there is a chance we may go camping one night - but i have gear and stuff (last year we went climbing -definitely a good time - and in the cards for this year as well).

Please let me know if you need help with timing and stuff.
I suggest you try to come in fri night and leave sunday or monday morning. But anytime around then is good.

Potential activities include:
rock climbing
hiking
camping
(ice climbing!!!)
skiing
eating
drinking
hanging out

(I swear to god - I will actually plan this one!!)

let me know if there are other things you want to do.

Love,
Jew

Ok, for reals now. Denver is pretty sweet if only it's very different (read: out in the middle of fucking nowhere). I think it would be fun just to hang out regardless of where it is. It would definitely be cheaper than a NYC or SF.

I vote for some outdoorsy activities like manly camping or manly climbing. But yes, I'm down, booking my tickets soon. I'll probably do a Fri night-Mon morning schedule.

I'll be in Boston the week prior for a conference and will have to check and see if I can do a PIT-BOS-DEN-PIT ticket... Also, not sure if you all have heard but I'll be in Mountain View all summer so perhaps we could set something up for then.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to make the Chicago trip. I know I said I would plan it, and I will once I know for sure whether I'll be able to get away. Alternatively, there will be 4 of us in the Bay area already.

Azim: Don't be gay. You're coming to Chicago even if I have to burn down NASA.

Alex: I would tell you not to be gay, but I'm not sure you know how. More interesting statistics from your little link then, since you brought it up:

Population between the ages of 20-34 (the 'Awesomest Years':
Denver: 28.7%
SF: 30.4%

Total Population:
Denver: 554,636
SF: 776,733

Percentage of Population that is White:
Denver: 65.3%
SF: 49.7%

Population Density (per square mile):
Denver: 3,615.6
SF: 16,632.4

Oh, and for those of you curious what those "9 spots" in between SF and Denver metropolitan areas is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_United_States_Metropolitan_Statistical_Areas

Good to know you fully admit that places like Tampa Bay, Baltimore Metro, and Greater St. Louis are fully superior to Denver.

By the way, it was 60 degrees and perfectly sunny today in SF. I ate lunch outside our magnificent city hall.

Have a nice day!
